Across all areas of ambulance services, we have worked on four main types of programme:

  • Improving efficiency and effectiveness of operations, for example: frontline road operations, call centres, and supporting services such as Make Ready
  • Devolving services to the local level, giving individuals more ownership over their work and greater accountability for performance
  • Cost improvement programmes that align to NHS priorities whilst maintaining high quality of care
  • Integrating systems to enable organisations to work cooperatively to provide excellent quality of care to as many people in the local community as possible
