Steve joined TN in February 2016 and has worked with a number of health economies delivering projects ranging from emergency pathway improvement to integrated health and social care.
Steve has had a special focus on change management and the redesign of site management functions for hospital providers. He is particularly interested in working with units providing specialised care and has worked with acute stroke units and tertiary services (i.e. Cardiology, Renal & Haematology). Steve has worked across the hospital hierarchy and has a developed in depth understanding of the drivers of efficiency. He enjoys using both qualitative and quantitative sources to identify root causes of inefficiencies and designing simple and workable solutions.
Before TN, Steve worked in consulting based in Sydney, Australia and delivered projects in social entrepreneurship, strategies for rural investment and ITC. Steve holds a Masters in Business from the University of Sydney, during which he spent an exchange year at the University of Oslo where he studied health systems and health economics.
Steve enjoys being outdoors, he is a certified open water diver, has lead a community development project in Vanuatu of twenty 16 – 18-year olds and worked as a professional tennis coach during his undergraduate study.
