Ranjan Kale

Ranjan brings over 12 years of healthcare experience to the firm, having completed his dental training at The Leeds Teaching Hospitals: NHS Trust and worked as a Dental Surgeon at various dental practices across England.

Ranjan has a keen interest in change management and delivering transformation across hospital wards by working ‘on the ground’ alongside medical and nursing teams. He is particularly interested in working on Frailty wards and assessment units, to support clients in ensuring older patients have a smooth patient journey by being assessed and treated in the most clinically effective way, and in the shortest possible timeframe as per recommended national Professional Standards guidelines.

Ranjan has also consulted on enhancing operational efficiency in a dental hospital setting by improving communication channels and streamlining staff allocation processes.  This was carried out by auditing and analysing data, interviewing clinical and operational leads and then carrying out in-depth walkthroughs across all dental departments to identify bottlenecks and barriers affecting operational flow.

Ranjan also has a strong analytical background and has designed performance dashboards that present complex performance reports in a clear and user-friendly format, across hospital departments.

Prior to joining TN, Ranjan worked as a Clinical Support Manager for {my}dentist, part of the Integrated Dental Holdings Group. This role involved leading clinical teams across 36 dental practices by working closely with the operational managers in supporting with CQC inspections and ensuring that NHS dental services provided comply with NHS England regulations. Ranjan has also advised dentists and operational managers on how to increase productivity through improved chair time efficiency, better diary utilisation and efficient use of materials and equipment.

Ranjan holds a BChD (Bachelor in Dental Surgery) degree from the University of Leeds and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

In his spare time, he enjoys swimming and playing cricket.
